Once you have your Learner class 6 motorcycle license, you can sit the CBTA Restricted assessment soon as you feel confident. Although training isn't compulsory; we do highly recommend completing some training before attempting this assessment. (A Minimum Age of 16.5 is Required to apply for any Restricted License.)

You can apply for your Full Class 6 Motorcycle license once you have held your Restricted motorcycle license for a minimum 12 months. CBTA assessment can be done after 9 months but the licensing agent will not accept your certificate until the one-year anniversary.
